Il suo esordio come pittrice risale al 1998, ha esposto con continuità in Italia e all'estero sia con mostre collettive che personali. Le sue opere sono collocate in esposizioni pubbliche e private.
"Nei dipinti della Bartoli risaltano tinte marcate, il rosso del sommato, il blu del mare, le numerose varianti cromatiche della vegetazione carsica, ma su tutte le tonalità prevale un "non colore", ossia quell'indefinito bianco del calcare che paradossalmente di volta in volta tende al grigio, all'azzurro, al verde quasi ad identificare diversi stati d'animo. Donatella Bartoli, was born in Trieste from Istrian exiles. She’s graduated in Gorizia. Teacher, she has attended various refresher corse in artistic activities. Her artistic debut laughed them to 1998, After the debut she has exposed continually in Italy and abroad. She works within a synthetic realism in firm artistic shake, modeled by the color, paying no attention from the naturalistic data in order to catch up a shape-color synthesis that its nourishment from the great river-bed of the pictorial tradition of the past reaches.
